Siding (almost) complete, only part that's missing is the metal siding at the "bay window" on the second floor. I am having a real hard time finding a company who's willing to take a small job like this...
The clear cedar is nice, and the vertical arrangement helps to add scale and prominence to the main entry to the house. I guess in real estate talk that's somewhat equivalent to curb appeal.
We started insulation on the first floor. We had to do the first floor first because we need to put plywood sheathing for our shear walls on the inside. We can't put the sheathing on the outside like it is normally done because we have the existing brick finish on the outside.
